Hatanto Reksodipoetro?

Studied economics at the prestigious University of Indonesia and has a master degree from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. While working 35 years at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, he was Director General of International Trade (1998) before becoming Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Oslo, Norway (2002) and retired as Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade in 2009.

In 2007, he successfully led the Government Team to develop Law no 25/2007 on Investment. This law is still current and has effectively governed the Indonesian policy on foreign and domestic investment. He therefore has extensive experience in the development of Indonesia’s trade and investment policies. Mr. Reksodipoetro had also held a number of positions in the Board of Directors (President Commissioner) of several state enterprises: PT Semen Padang, PT Semen Gresik Group Tbk and PT Sucofindo.
